How to develop urgency as a startup founder

How I learned to develop urgency in my day-2-day as a startup founder

Ever notice how some people seem to accomplish more in a day than others do in a week? The difference isn't talent or resources - it's urgency.

In this video, I share my personal journey of discovering how urgency transformed my approach to building startups. After spending six weeks "just vibing" and enjoying life, reality hit me hard: I needed to make my business work, and fast.

I break down the three core principles that have dramatically increased my productivity:

  1. Just get started - The first five minutes are always the hardest, but once you begin, momentum takes over

  2. Do it now - There's never a "perfect time" to start; waiting is just making excuses

  3. The time it takes is the time you give it - Setting constraints forces innovation and prevents procrastination

I've learned that urgency might be the biggest differentiator between entrepreneurs who succeed and those who don't. As Jensen Huang (NVIDIA's founder) demonstrates, working with urgency doesn't mean panic or stress - it means capturing opportunities before they slip away.

Most importantly, I explain why consistent daily action creates compound effects that can't be matched by occasional bursts of productivity. Even five minutes daily will yield better results than one massive session per week.

Want to build the urgency habit? Follow along as I share daily reminders and practical strategies for making urgency your entrepreneurial superpower.
